OneSite Wake Overview
Wake devices anywhere, anytime to continuously deliver software and patches across your organization, no infrastructure required.
Install OneSite Wake
Install and license OneSite Wake on your server machine and create the Web WakeUp site.
With OneSite Wake you can turn on devices from within your enterprise network at any time. This allows you to perform critical administrator functions such as installing software updates and patches during non-peak hours.
Load Leveling - Reduces peak load on ConfigMgr servers and network infrastructure by distributing operations across specified time periods.
Service Windows - Enable potentially disruptive operations such as patch deployments and software installations to run outside normal business hours.
Wake on LAN - Automatically powers on clients when assigned to perform ConfigMgr operations like inventory, software distribution, or patching. Clients can then be powered down when not in use to reduce energy consumption.
Instant Client Actions - Allow administrators to remotely perform policy polling, inventory collection, and other ConfigMgr tasks with a simple point-and-click interface.
Web WakeUp - Provides end users the ability to remotely wake their machines after hours through a web interface. Users authenticate and can wake any machine they've recently logged into. This allows organizations to shut down idle machines while still enabling remote access when needed. The web site integrates with Adaptiva Server to wake specified machines and report operation status. Multiple Web WakeUp sites can be deployed with Windows load balancing for scalability and redundancy.
