# Configure Wake-On LAN Workflows

## Import the WoL Workflows

Three workflows need to be imported into the Adaptiva Workbench. These workflows can be found on the Web WakeUp server under **Wake\Control**.

1. Expand **Workbench Perspectives > Misc** folder in the Workbench Perspectives pane
2. Double-click **Object Export-Import Perspective**.

3. Select **Import Objects** in the **EXIM Task Navigator**.

4. Select the **Workflow\_SF - RVP Wake On LAN Workflow\.obex** file located in the **C:\Wake\2012-Integration folder**.
5. Right-click the workflow and select **Specify Folder**.

6. Select **Workflows/Green Planet Workflows/Client Workflows**.

7. Click **OK**.
8. Click **Import** from the **Import Status** section.

9. Repeat for the two additional workflows and place in the appropriate specified folder:
   * **Workflow\_SF – Register Workflow\.obex** - Workflows/Green Planet Workflows/Server Workflows
   * **Workflow\_SF - Server Wol Status Uploader.obex** - Workflows/Green Planet Workflows/Server Workflows
10. Close the **Object Export-Import Perspective**.

## Deploy WoL Workflows

1. Expand **Workbench Perspectives > Misc** folder in the Workbench Perspectives pane and select **Workflow Designer Perspective**.
2. Open **Workflows/Green Planet Workflows/Client Workflows**.
3. Right-click the **SF – RVP Wake On LAN** Workflow.
4. Click **Deploy**.

5. Check **Enable Logging**.

6. Click **OK**.
7. Open **Workflows/Green Planet Workflows/Server Workflows**.
8. Repeat step 4 above for the remaining workflows:
   * **SF – Register Workflow**
   * **SF – Server Wol Status Uploader**

For the two remaining server workflows, it is not required to Enable Logging in the Workflow Settings dialog.

1. Right-click the **SF – Register Workflow**, and select Launch.

There is no UI for this workflow, and unless an error is displayed, it should be considered successful.

## Configure WoL Workflow

1. Navigate to the **Green Planet/Wake On Lan** folder from the Workbench Perspectives side navigation.
2. Select **Global Wake On Lan Settings**.
3. Click **Add** under **Default Peer (RVP) Wake On LAN Workflow**.

4. Navigate to **Workflows/Green Planet Workflows/Client Workflows**
5. Select **SF – RVP Wake On LAN Workflow**.
6. Click **OK**.
7. Click **Save**.

## Create the Server Execution Policy

1. Click **Home**.
2. Navigate to the **Misc > Tools Foundry Perspective**.
3. Select **Create Server Workflow Execution Policy**.
4. Click **Add** next to **Server Workflow**.
5. Type *ping* in the search field and select.
6. Click **OK**.

7. Click **Save**.
8. Select the **Server Workflow Execution Policies** folder.
9. Click OK.
10. Repeat and select the **Wake Adaptiva Client** workflow to add.

11. Click **Save**, select the **Server Workflow Execution Policies** folder, then click **OK**.
